2021
Leaving 2020 behind, we’ve learned to adapt to new situations and widen our perspectives. Maybe the ‘new normal’ isn’t quite what we expected, but what hasn’t changed is our desire to improve each day! So, yes, we did make the best of 2021.
We’ve seen more people shooting film than ever. Hundreds of new names entered our database every month, pushing us to deliver more detailed feedback – one of our favorite parts of the process, to be honest! And our Domestika course came just in time for all those starting out!
As film became more popular, we had the opportunity to work on a wider range of looks and styles, and our rolls flew out of the fridge! To top it off, many of the projects we had put on hold began to see the light of day. Carmencita Barcelona and our collaboration with BOOK AND SONS finally became a reality.
In February 2021, Carmencita Barcelona opened its doors for the first time, and it’s already a success! Meanwhile, we began testing with BOOK AND SONS in order to launch our first drop box in Japan. Crazy enough, a piece of Carmencita can now be found in Tokyo! Being able to deliver the highest quality to anyone on the planet is what drives us.
Needless to say, it has been a year of professional and personal growth. The Best of 2021 is a great source of inspiration for both our clients and ourselves. Take your time to enjoy this very special selection. From jaw-dropping editorials to small homey projects, sparkling images, textures, and colors that make us wonder: how cool would it be to see them printed?!
