As an analog film photography retailer we see that a key point is to have costumers that are happy shooting film and their results.
Some business don’t take film photography seriously as a medium to obtain quality results but just as a hobby to play with for a while (a trend), that implying that the average costumers life-span gets reduced to somewhere between 6 months and 1,5 years. For us, this is not a healthy practice neither a fair one.
Our approach is radically different, we exist with the sole goal to give analog photographers the best possible experience after they have shot their rolls. And we’ve seen that after 5 years this enabled us to retain more than 65% of our regular costumers every year while obtaining 62% of client satisfaction of 5 of 5, and 29% with 4 of 5.
High return on clients, or in other words, loyal clients it’s key to create a community and attract more costumers into it. This translates into more sales both in film, cameras and items related to analog photography.

LOGISTICS
Using our partnership with FedEx you don’t have to worry about anything, just pack the rolls, print the label and a courier will show up. In 24h the package will be at the lab.
We always use express services both for the tracking service and the short delivery times which translate in shorter times for the client
COSTUMER SERVICE
When a roll enters the lab we assume full responsibility for it and never hide from the costumer end. This means that what ever happens we will be there for the costumer and you as a shop will never take the blame for anything that happens at the lab

ONLINE BACK UP
We now also offer Server Back Up for all the rolls that come at the lab. You as shop will also have access to all the files that are delivered online, this is extremely convenient when a costumer reach out to you to have some files resent cause they couldn’t download them on time. This service is completely free for you starting with the first roll you sent to us!
PRINT PLATFORM & FILM SUPPLIES
PRINT PLATFORM
Using our prints platform, you can upload print orders from your clients directly. The prints will go directly into our server and we will ship them with your next shipment, all the prints come with a personalized packaging and well protected.

FILM SUPPLIES
We’ve been working really hard to get as competitive prices in film as possible, for the sole reason of, cheaper film means more photographers since it becomes a good option for all budgets.
Our prices are some of the best in Europe since we sell mainly online and you can purchase directly from us with a discount of 7% in all products. We are still fighting to get better rates but it’s hard to work with factory suppliers directly.
HIGHER VOLUME, HIGHER BENEFITS
There are different packages depending on the volume of film that you deal with, of course with bigger volumes bigger advantages!
The starting rate is at 10% net profit for the shop in all the sales, up to 20% + free shipping on the highest volumes.
The idea is to create consistency within the pricing so the prices that the client would pay would be based on the same rates you see online at /prices
There are different tariffs depending on the services, all the info is stated in the contract at the beginning of the partnership. The minimum amount to be able to start working together is 5 rolls/week.

We started in 2013 working with this methodology.
Quickly we relized that offering high quality services of scanning atracted the attention of many online and encouraged them to both keep shooting and motivate others to start shooting in order to obtain the same high quality results. This was a consisteny growth that scalated internationally and conveniced many that it was worth it to ship overseas to obtain the same quality.
This pool of clients is also in need of film supplies and prints which also evolved in having a high return of clients coming into the shop an online looking for fresh film supplies, closing the circle of sales.
The growth during the late years is less accentuated because the international market is highly covered but we’ve seen that local markets tend to evolve in a similar way, with the advantage of the ability to connect more directly with the local costumers and create or emphazise the film community in the city.
Being a Carmencita Drop Point you will be featured on the drop points website and referred as a recommended as place to go to either get film processed, purchase fresh film or any kind of camera gear.
We make sure the quality of the brand is reflected in all aspects, from the wooden box to drop the film, to the design of the order forms, packaging, stickers, etc… Here is a list of the welcoming package we offer:
