Best of

April

Spring is here, flowers blossoming, days are longer, and shutter speeds shorter.

We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel that guides us to a typical summer. We know it’s not going to be as 2019, but we chose hope to be our companion this time. We see film is getting more popular than ever after the digital age, to be honest, we could not have ever imagined this eight years ago when we started. To see so many approaching film photography with the same passion we do, somehow, we believe it makes us better humans. Treating our memories with the medium they deserve will be thanked by our future selves.

Often we get asked if the film will last if it’s a trend or a fashion. But, for us, there is something visceral that connects us to film, painting, handwriting, and reading from paper books. It is part of us; even if we acknowledge it or not, it is there, like the sounds of the forest that we can enjoy on a hike, sometimes we can’t tell them apart, but we can experience them.

We are genuinely committed to making the best out of every frame possible to show everyone that film needs to keep alive. But also, at the same time, we put a lot of thought into what we do, how we do it, and why we do it.

Maybe it’s the smells, the light, or the heat from sunshine in our skin, but we feel extra optimistic about this year.
