Best of
July
July is often the time for soft, almost dreamy, yet powerful scenarios and images. But, this time was a bit different. We’ve seen a shift in film photography leaning over stronger blacks and tonalities that shift to more earthy colors.
We never get tired of mentioning the possibility that film offers in terms of looks and color, and the best of all it is that you can actually do it on camera instead of spending countless hours behind a monitor editing. Being more present, conscious, and fully aware of what you are doing is one of the reasons film has no rival.
July is also the time to get back to living outdoors for the most part of the day. Being in touch with nature again gives us a sense of freedom that can’t compare to anything else. This feeling is something we’ve sensed and tried to capture with this month’s selection.
