This is meant to be a full day at the lab facilities, with part of the team + selected photographer to comprehend film photography both in the field and behind the scenes.
The idea is to give a 360º view on what does it mean to be a film photographer, from shooting to developing, to talking with your clients and to talk with your lab. Really the only way we could think about making the experience more complete is to have a factory tour at Kodak, but that’s a bit off our possibilities (by now!).
Morning: We will cover every aspect of the lab, from developing to adjusting after the scanner. When we open our doors we do it for real, you will be able to scan your own film and see for yourself what it is that we do and why does it matter.
Afternoon: Isabelle will be an open book for any question, from color editing to business, from shooting to editing. We really could not think for a better photographer suited to begin Saturday’s at the lab since Isabelle has been and editor herself in the past before becoming a full time photographer. She’s also been shooting film since the very first day and even she also know her way around a digital workflow, she never ditched film since she begun photographing.
